Crochet – covered with Afghan stitch
In this video you will see how to make a simple cover for children with Afghan stitch crochet. To make this work you need: 600 meters around salmon, wire knitting needle number fifteen and a crochet hook. First, make a row of ch-120 base (if you need larger increase the number of chains). Once you take the knitting needle, insert it in the last ch created, then insert hook in the previous chain, form a loop and insert inside the knitting needle. Proceed as follows for all the chain base row. At this point your row will be full of slots that you will have to work in groups of five, then, insert the hook in the first five holes and make a single chain, remove the group from the iron and make five single crochet through the Center. After this step, skip to the next set of five chain and repeat the previous operation. Do this until the last group. Now you have to again enter the knitting needle in ch, as above, and then repeat the same steps until you reach the desired size for the cover.
